New Year, New Blog Section - Introducing Food!

Welcome back to Bloggby Science and Politics. After a hiatus for finals and holidays, we're back with a new section! While writing about science and politics over the last year has been great, my past work on food insecurity combined with regularly cooking for myself for the first time over the past semester has inspired the addition of a food section to this blog.

So, what can you expect to see in this section? It won't be your standard food blog, with a 5 page story about grandpa's bread recipe, followed by a bunch of ads, a non-succinct version of the bread recipe, and then finally, the recipe card. Instead, I'm hoping to explore both food issues - food security, food deserts, climate impacts, etc. - as well as ways to get into cooking as a college student, how to navigate grocery shopping, and some of my favorite recipes.

I hope you enjoy this new section, and look out for more posts in science and politics in the new year as well!
