Week 3 is upon us! If you haven't seen week 2, check out the post here!

This week was a bit of a slower week, as I worked on wrapping up a few personal projects (a quilt, among others), and got caught up on pleasure reading. However, progress was still made, as always!

With water testing all but complete (just a few redo tests to take care of next week), I worked on finding data for the socioeconomic and greenspace/forest cover components of my project, using census and MA state government sources. I also started to analyze this data, making tables and doing some basic statistical measures on the socioeconomic data. I intended to get into the GIS data as well, but did not have the time I needed to sit down and really dig into it - so next week it is for that!

One of the harder parts of self-paced, independent projects like this is making the time to get them done. I certainly ran into that this week, and while it's not ideal to get off schedule, I've generally found it best to rework things and move on.
